The Indian art of Kantha dates back hundreds of years, where women passed down the embroidery technique from generation to generation.
Vintage handmade cotton throws are made from Indian Sari dresses, using thousands of tiny stitches to bind unique designs.
These throws come from West Bengal and West Rajasthan regions and are 60-80 years old. As a result all patterns, patches and stitches are unique.
Dry cleaning is preferred to preserve these beautiful handmade pieces.
